This is the new Opal vinyl range, which is simply stunning! The colours change in the light, so from any angle your project will look fabulous.
To show off this product, I decided to use a simple glass photo frame from the dollar store (only $4!). This frame has two thin sheets of glass in it, so that a photo or other image can be placed between them.
There are three colours of the Opal vinyl available, blue, white and pink. (Try this seller on Amazon to buy). I chose the blue colour, which becomes pink when you move it around in the light.
Of course, what could be the perfect image to use for this kind of beautiful colours, but a unicorn? I purchased this stunning fairy on a unicorn’s back SVG cut file from this seller on Etsy. I added the words “I believe in fairies and unicorns” in a script font, and cut the vinyl on my Silhouette Cameo machine.
Using the Tape Technologies application tape, I applied the vinyl cutouts to the glass. I really recommend cleaning the glass with rubbing isopropol alcohol, and drying properly before applying the vinyl.
So here is the finished project, which my unicorn-loving youngest daughter has already claimed for her room!
It’s difficult to take pictures that really do this vinyl justice, as the reflection on the glass is hard to counter. It is a beautiful product, that is easy to use for great results.
I hope you have been inspired to create your own home decor with the amazing products from Tape Techologies and StyleTech Crafts!
